Jerry Roth, a Munger, Tolles & Olson partner, will share his expertise during the 2021 Dispute Resolution Mediation & Advocacy Skills Institute virtual conference. He will be joined by three panelists during the conference’s plenary session, “International Focus -- The Globalization of Mediation.”
The immediate past President of UIA (Union Internationale des Avocats), the world’s oldest association of lawyers, Mr. Roth has extensive experience handling cross-border legal matters including litigation, arbitration and mediation. He holds a French-language master’s degree in Business Law from the University of Paris (Assas) in addition to his U.S. degrees, and works in several languages.
The discussion Mr. Roth will co-lead, aligns with the conference’s theme “Mediation Beyond Boundaries: Competencies and Ethics in a Digital World.” This three-day virtual institute held by the American Bar Association’s Dispute Resolution Section allows viewers to learn from leading authorities in the field about the burgeoning use of mediation across borders.
